don't you think that the larry hug 2015 was more of a friendship hug than two boyfriends hugging?

Tbh, I feel like all the hugs that night carried the weight of being in the biggest boyband in the world closing that chapter of their lives—almost like a final bow at the curtain call. It was less about their private relationship and more about acknowledging everything they had accomplished together.

The reason the Larry hug stood out so much though was because, at that point, we had never really seen them hug on stage like that before—at least not in years. It was the first in a looooong, long time, which made it significant in itself. Even Niall visibly clapped for them (imo, likely as a show of support for the whole group, but also maybe in recognition of that very rare moment).

So, was it necessarily a romantic hug? No, not explicitly (at least from where I see it). It was brief but you could see all of them just taking in that moment. Anyway, that doesn’t take away from its importance. Given the history and circumstances, it was a huge moment for a lot of people watching, and that’s why it remains so symbolic. ♡

Hey.. I've read that harry has least screenspace compared to other guys in AOTV(but I've also read that there is kind of montage for H in the beginning not sure which is true) and also that camera panned to Harry whenever there was talks about band going on hiatus or break talks.. that is louis was of saying that H being the reason for split without actually telling it.. is it true? If you've seen or heard about such thing?? If its actually true to a point then it makes me think that if they've actually ever cleared their differences and their portrayal as enemies is actually true🫨.. I mean do you put the person you love in such light is my question...

I highly recommend seeing the movie if you haven’t already! I saw it in theaters, and then when the download was being passed around on here, I saved it & rewatched parts of it.

I didn’t count screen time in the movie for each of the guys- based on memory, I know that there’s scenes with Liam that are much more in depth and post 1D days.

There’s also some moments that feel very specifically Harry / Larry related- there’s a moment before the last performance where they hug and Lou is shirtless. Leading up to that moment you can tell Louis is nervous / Harry can’t stop looking at him from across the room( Adding the hug gif below)

I think if we suddenly got footage of H & L together post 1D (which is what most of the film covers) it would be very very surprising- especially since the narrative is the opposite.

I didn’t get the vibe at all that Louis was attempting to blame the hiatus on H, or that he was painting him in a bad light at all!
